Methos, the head admin of the
Quake3 Knightmare Invitational Tournament, has thrown together a small movie about the void on DM14. The movie seems to have been inspired by the many halarious falls into the void during last weeks playoff matches. The movie, titled "The Void" is 3 minutes long. The movie is suprisingly good, as well as funny, and has recieved many good reviews from a lot of Quake 3 gamers.

This was my first official release into the community. A large gothic styled Capture the Flag map that we have played at our LAN parties with a large group of people. Very fun with lots of room to move.

The ultimate CTF mod that contains a great new game mode called "CaptureStrike", 5 new Threewave maps and 3 refitted maps, Classic CTF game mode with 8 classic maps, Compilation Pak 1 maps (8 maps), Compilation Pak 2 maps (8 maps), portal style voting on next map and game style, mini games in between maps, with 35 maps in all.
Comments??
A remix of the classic Q3 Duel map, DM13. Apart from a retexture, the main changes are to remove some of the obstacles to smooth gameplay (low doors, low corridor ceilings) and to add floor holes to the bridge/platform area (re-introducing some the risk that thru-floors had to campers). Nodm9a (included in the same pk3 file) makes much more radical changes. Designed for CPM gameplay, there are distinct 1v1 and TDM (2v2) layouts. 1v1 introduces a Railgun, for a novel twist on traditional DM13 gameplay, while the TDM edition has a BFG. Note that the BFG in CPM is has a rate of fire and damage more equivalent to a more powerful rocket launcher than the vQ3 version. Though designed for CPM, the 1v1 edition might well be fun in vQ3.

Tricking iT2 is a Quake3 freestyle trickjumping movie from inifinite Trajectory. After over 5 months of professional editing from one of the world leading gaming movie production houses, Shaolin Productions, and over a year of insane trickjump demoing from Infinite Trajectory, the wait is finally at an end. But thats not all. We have a new feature we'd like to present. Multiple Audio Tracks.Thats right, not just one soundtrack, but the ability to choose from 4, with and without sound effects!

There's been an overhaul of the ingame menu system, most notably the visual appearance, but also a tightening up of behaviour. The creation of skirmish games also gets a look in, with even more server options supported and a new style of disabling items. There's also quite a lot of code updated under the hood, including numerous small but essential bug fixes. This is fully compatible with Quake3 version 1.30 and includes access to many of the new options inlcuded in that release.
This isn't a strict conversion of Q2DM1. It is better described as a level "inspired by" The Edge. Each individual element of The Edge has been represented in some way, and if you are mentally familiar with The Edge then you will be able to understand this map much better.
