After the public death of my first Q3A player model, the Cacodemon, I quickly rushed to fill the void by starting work on this model. It only took a few days to complete, and with that aspect in mind, I couldn't be happier with it, except for the fact that I kind of went a bit overboard with the polygon count. Not much else to say really, except that now I have using MD3s pretty much figured out, I feel confident I can keep spitting out Q3A player models at a decent rate.

ZPM is a client side mod for Quake 3 Arena that has extra options coded in to enable client side prediction of all weapons. These options are enabled by default but can be disabled for those who wish to keep the latency in their aim(for those who are so used to the way Q3A plays online).
When client side prediction is enabled the clients computer tells the server when you hit someone instead of the other way around which means that all shots fired are instant and missles appear instanly when fired.

XoneXfer is a multi-purpose mod for Quake 3 Arena. It has many capabilities, and is able to accomodate many different play styles.
Most servers that run XoneXfer are unlagged, although this can be turned off if desired (see config readme).
Through the various game settings, many aspects of the game can be customized to provide a unique game experience, or configured to replicate several of the more well known mods, such as InstaUnlagged or OSP.
Although you can modify each of the settings yourself, for your convenience a few standard config scripts have been provided, and several more are available on the forums.
If you make a great new gametype with this, post your settings on the forums so others can enjoy it too!

X-Battle is a competition mod for Quake4. What's new:
full Q4 PR 1.3 support (incl. new napalm gun, deadzone gametype and gameplay changes)
a fresh new GUI (all client commands are adjustable, votes included!)
optional 'simple' 1 colored Brightskins (they take less performance compared to the 3 tiled skins)
optional clientside XGO sounds
MAXstats support (XML stats logging)
new gametype FREEZE TDM (developed under the control of the Q3 UFT scene)
alternate weapon viewmodels (for ui_showgun 1 players)
enemy/team model handling rewritten from scratch
r_lightScale and other important cvars unlocked

X-Battle in its current version is a service modification for Quake4. It was and will be designed for competition uses like ladders, leagues and tournaments. Our goal is it to enhance Quake4 to make it to the best choice for a serious competition mod. Since the release of the SDK all changes in X-Battle are optional and deactivated by default. This version is Quake4 1.2 compatible. What's new in this release:
fix: powerups are shown again if spectating a player.
fix: scoreboard / skins show wrong teams fixed.
fix: fixed a problem with client projectile collision detection. (rocketlauncher bug)
add: cl_q3Zoom to allow q3 zoom style. ( community request )
add: s_altEnemySounds to use tankjr and keel sounds for an opponent model. ( community request )
add: captain commands "captains", "invite", "pickplayer", "removeplayer","kickplayer", "resign", "teamready", "readyteam", "accept" and "decline"; see client-commands.txt for details.
add: cl_nomip to allow changing graphics to picmip 1, regardless of current picmip settings.
chg: aimtext at crosshair shows up immediatelly without fading in.
chg: default cl_enemyColor* / cl_teamColor* colors changed to red/blue.
