For those who haven''t tried MAXBrowse before, it is a server browser created with the aim to be as easy to use, and without adding unnecessary baggage. The movie for the first season is released. Suffering graciously agreed to make the movie and did a fantastic job. Thanks to those of you who submitted demos with the shots marked. We hope to be able to do the same thing for Season 2 so keep track of any spectacular shots or flag runs, holy shits etc.
Format for naming files:
Please don''t send us .txt files with frags + times inside, instead put them into the demonames!
Just like this:
YourPlayername_Mapname_Fragtype_Fragtime.ndmo85
So if I had a double airrocket on Heartless at 15:40min, I would name the demo like:
suffer1ng_CTF1_DoubleAir_15,40.ndmo85
For the case I have more than one frag in that demo, I would just make the demoname longer then, like:
suffer1ng_CTF1_DoubleAir_15,40_Holyshit_19,40.ndmo85
Please use timer counting UP for the fragtimes!!

(Keep in mind that there is a size cap, I think it''s 20mb, so better don''t put all your demos into one .rar file, split them instead)
The BEST thing would be if you create a short clip of your frags, e.g. via fraps, before you send us your demos, just for us to preview it faster. This would save us loads of time.

The ETQW Competition Mod contains several new features and cvar settings to better adapt the game for competition and tournament play, where smaller team sizes are common.
A list with some of the features of this mod;
* Added cvar-based limits for classes, weapons, deployables, and mines.
* Added ability to permanently enable XP unlocks such as Faster Sprint, Grenade Launcher, Reduced Weapon Spread, Extra Clip, and Scoped Assault Rifle.
* Added pause functionality: Teams can call time-outs, and Admins can pause and unpause the game.
* Added ability to toggle camera between killer and nearby medics when unconscious.
* Added ability to automatically record demos and take screenshots of scoreboards.
* Added ability to scale pitch and yaw values for every vehicle to fully customize mouse sensitivity.
* Added "Auto-join" button that joins the team with less players.
* Added setSpawnPoint command with several options to allow keybinds for selecting spawn points.
* Increased Technician health to 100.
* Reduced Radar range.
* Increased vehicle spawn times.
* Added map-specific changes across the board to improve gameplay for competition (including number of vehicles).
* Added various Spectator improvements:
o Names displayed above player''s heads.
o Time remaining on planted charges.
o Pressing use while looking at a player spectates that player.
o New "spectate" console command to switch spectator players, jump to players currently constructing the objective, or jump to a preset angle and position on the map.
A few things you should be aware of:
- This is an unsupported Beta release. Neither id Software, Splash Damage, or Activision will provide technical assistance.
- Since this is a Mod, only Unranked ETQW servers can run it.

The only difference, is that this (all weapons) light mod moves with the barrel of your weapon, instead of being stationary ( fixed in the center of your screen )like the other mods. Thats it , nothing else.
Install,
1. Open the zip.
2. Put pak300 to your "q4base" folder, usually in >>> c:Program FilesQuake 4q4base
3. Enjoy yourself.
WARNING these defs may interfere with any other mod you may have installed .
This is the file to get if you run linux and want to use AprQ2. It contains the source files for version 1.21 of the AprQ2 client for Quake2.
AprQ2 provides many enhanced features over the regular 3.20 Quake2 Client including: Better graphics, Winamp integration, stainmaps (blood stays on the walls), increased client security, and much more. A readme is included for taking full advantage of its features.
Note: It will compile under Linux or Windows - the make file automatically detects your o/s and builds the correct binary.

A great film, showcasing an amazing Dutch Quake 3 Arena Player Mike "RazorX" Jeurissen.
After a few weeks of work (with short pauses, my birthday and stuff) I'm officially releasing frag movie of a 2nd sexyest qcg player, bringing out the best from his last 3 years of gaming. The video is captured at 50fps and contains frags/quadrun/flagcaptures from duel/tdm/ctf on OSP and CPMA vQ3.I preferred to keep first the first person pov actions, because I don't like cams and other matrix bullshit, and its much better to keep the in-game feeling. I had some problems with rendering so I apologize for issues with video quality.
I would like to thank sch4 for support and suggestions, pulz and auri for assisting me,exp for movie cfg, Joe Williamsen for credits(hunter's dance) and Krz,doz3r,Legie,Hawr1x,OHO,niko for being there for me.

A Quake 2 bot which plays DM and CTF. Learns the map each time you play so it starts out slow. Website seems to be dead.
The final point release for Quake2. This is the full patch that includes the ctf models and textures.
Can be applied to the 3.14 demo, and you will have a full working version capable of playing online.

Here is my third Quake3 video project. I wanted to make a new Defrag movie, but something different than freestyle because I already made 2 freestyle videos. I was thinking about what kind of movie to make and I purposed to the French community to make a video with demos from French players. Regarding to the general trend of defrag video nowadays like smooth/chilly videos, I wanted to make something more spontaneous, a bit like old defrag videos. This is an "ingame feeling" video, so with lots of first person views and ingame sounds, with punchy musical backing. No fancy effects effects at all, and no blur.
