Hipdm1 was a custom map made for Quake 2. So now this map has been ported over to Quake 4 for your enjoyment. Some parts of the map are re-textured but the layout is pretty much the same. The lighting is also updated and the weapons are still in the same positions.

This is a map for the mod Hardcore for Quake 4. The map is a recreation of the first level of Super Mario Bros. All of the bricks are breakable with any weapons. The questions blocks are activated by jumping down on them. For enter in some pipes, shot on top of them and destroy the entrance.

This is done not only by increasing the run speed, but several other parts of the game have been changed to fulfill this goal as well. This mod is all about face to face fights, rather than camping doors with a rail gun, or machine gunning someone from across a map. This is nonstop deathmatch action.

Q4W stands for Quake 4 World, an obvious reference to QuakeWorld. So, what is it ? A return in the past to make Q4 feels like QW ? Yes and no, as we want to bring back some features of QW, but not only : Q3 and Q4 have also great features we still want to find. Our goal is to offer to the Quake Community a different kind of game, base on speed, tricks, fun and what we think a better gameplay.

The whole idea is to have a game really fast, where movements can make the decision in a fight, and not only aiming. Where controlling a specific zone is really important, with precious items. A game where base weapons are not almost equals to the bigger ones. A game offering best of both world weapons, without making one too much powerful in a defensive situation. We offer anticipation weapons and hitscan weapons, and they hurt a lot. They'll hurt you bad. It's about domination, it's not really newbie friendly, because spawnfrags are back.

Controlling the game is really important, a situation can turnover very quickly. No minimum time for respawn and a maximum of 2", respawn at 100/0 with only a MG with not much ammunitions... you'll learn how to win the hard way.

This is our trailer for our Quake 4 modification "Q4Run". Music: Professor Kliq - Ode to Charles "Q4Run is a modification for Quake4. Primarily it''s based on trickjumping and combining tricks. The first idea behind this mod was to implement timers which makes it possible to finish a specific "run" map in a certain time and then improve it afterwards. Every run will be documented in a demo named after name of player and map and time. If you want you can share those demos with other players so they can watch your skill or can help you to improve it. Comparing to other times you can try to beat them or be proud of yourself because of better records."

Quake 4 Expert is an attempt to bring forward a mod that''s been around since Quake 1. The speeds are faster then normal and gameplay is focused more on skill sets, like protecting the flag carrier, your base and planning strategies of attack, rather then hunting for items and using powerups. Weapons are all given to you, regenning health and regenning ammo are constant parts of the game. A new weapon has been added, a hand grenade primer with adjustable speeds based on players hold times. The blaster has been readded to multiplayer, and has been despammed and made a bit more useable in a multiplayer game. Standard powerups and item pickups have all been removed from maps. The reason is to focus more on gameplay and not searching and holding areas where items are important part of gameplay strategy.

The only difference, is that this (all weapons) light mod moves with the barrel of your weapon, instead of being stationary ( fixed in the center of your screen )like the other mods. Thats it , nothing else. Install, 1. Open the zip. 2. Put pak300 to your "q4base" folder, usually in >>> c:Program FilesQuake 4q4base 3. Enjoy yourself. by Decebal Map 2 = Placebo Effect / wvwq4dm1 This is the Quake 4 Grand Final at WSVG 2007 in Louisville, the second set. The Final was played between two of the best players in Quake4, Toxjq or Toxic (SWE) and Av3k (POL). The first set was won by Toxjq and was the favorite of this final. Sorry, but no commentators for this map. Av3k vs Toxjq = 44:18 HF and enjoy!
