A small deathmatch map for Quake 3 Arena. Original made by Richard Tompkins for Sin and Quake 2. This level uses a lot of original textures, but they look a lot better here than they did in the original game.

A must-see movie for all frag video fans, Forever 2 combines fantastic frags with crisp, clean quality and sets a new standard for synchronization with the music. The frags are provided by a huge cast of 63 largely unknown Brazilian Quake 3 players, with the only exception being a brief (but quickly ended) appearance from CPL Rio champion reef. The movie is complete with a large variety of great frags and Vecchi's exceptional editing really makes this movie an essential part of any enthusiast's collection.

Fortress Evolution is a class-based modification developed for the Quake 3 Arena engine. To those familiar with fortress style modifications, or class based systems for that matter, it's important to realize that this style of gameplay is different from anything you've most likey ever experienced. FE takes it's roots from the original QuakeWorld modification(s), TeamFortress and MegaTeamFortress. While both are the same in their base engine operations, there are some class and gameplay factors that definitely seperate the two. Fortress Evolution's attempt is to recreate the two while maintaining QuakeWorld physics in a more graphically adept enviroment; Quake 3 Arena.

This second development alpha release contains the soldier, scout, demoman, and combat medic. Also contains h4rdcore, 32smooth, forts, xpress, 1on1, and cube.

Czech Republic Legie made a little movie for you. It is called Fragged by Legie 2, because it is the second movie he did. This time, Czech Republic Termi was creating this video and I must say that he did a really good job that lets you feel the rockets. You will see some cool frags from TDM and DUEL coloured by nice selected music. All the action is packed into nice 8 minutes of decent Quake 3 sk

This movie was done not only for LeXeR's fans around the world, but for all Quake 3 fans. We tried to make this movie as interesting as possible, and gathered best moments from LeXeR's games. It's up to you to judge how good we managed to accomplish that. The movie-makers watched 42 hours of demo records just for you, and selected the best out of more than 1500 frags. The movie's length is 10 minutes, 4 music tracks were used.

A great film, showcasing an amazing Dutch Quake 3 Arena Player Mike "RazorX" Jeurissen. After a few weeks of work (with short pauses, my birthday and stuff) I'm officially releasing frag movie of a 2nd sexyest qcg player, bringing out the best from his last 3 years of gaming. The video is captured at 50fps and contains frags/quadrun/flagcaptures from duel/tdm/ctf on OSP and CPMA vQ3.I preferred to keep first the first person pov actions, because I don't like cams and other matrix bullshit, and its much better to keep the in-game feeling. I had some problems with rendering so I apologize for issues with video quality. I would like to thank sch4 for support and suggestions, pulz and auri for assisting me,exp for movie cfg, Joe Williamsen for credits(hunter's dance) and Krz,doz3r,Legie,Hawr1x,OHO,niko for being there for me.

This is a Quake 3 fragmovie by me xgo bringing u frags from various gamemodes(duel, ctf, tdm) in VQ3 and CPM. All frags were done by me.
Ive tried to get the best quality and the smallest file size possible. Q3mme was very helpfull and i wouldnt even do a movie if it didnt exsist. <3 MME.

Its a 50 fps movie so u will need a strong CPU(works on AMD Sempron 2600) to playback the x264 version. Use VLC or mplayer.

An update for users of Generations Arena v0.99c. This version contains many changes that are internal to the programming. You won't see them, but the game is even more solid than 0.99c was. Many bugs have been fixed and new features and commands have been added. Here is a list of what's new:

  • The "Large map" load bug has been fixed. This was due to a pointer glitch and was corrected during the streamlining process of the client-side program code. Maps that failed to load under v0.99c should load under v0.99d. This has been tested without any failures to date. Known maps affected included Gen-q2dm1 and painfromspain.
  • The menu system now supports model and skin selection for each class.
  • We've added Crosshair Health functionality back into Generations. This has been missing from Quake 3 for some time now. This option is selectable through the Game Options portion of the Setup menu.
  • Dynamic light controls have been added to the menu system under Game Options. If you haven't been playing with dynamic lights turned on you're missing some really sweet eye candy!
  • Demo recording is now possible regardless of whether or not the server is running g_synchronousclients 1. The new /demorecord command is explained in detail below.
  • The Doom model has received an extra skin as well as a new head!
  • We've added in some new obituaries for lava, slime, and drowning, and brought back some old ones, too. The environmental hazard damage behavior has also been modified to function as it did in Quake 2. We felt the damage behavior for slime and lava was far too severe in Quake 3 so this has been modified across the board for all classes. You'll like the change.
  • The Arena Gladiator and Strogg Trooper bots now have their own custom railgun colors. Pay attention to the color on that spiral!
  • Server-side spawn protection has been added.
  • Simple items icons have been added for all classes.
  • Doom has a new armor system, more in line with the armor system in the original Doom.
  • Picking up weapons has become a bit more consistant as well. Our new weapons pickup system no longer penalizes you for grabbing ammo before you grab a gun. If you don't have a weapon you will be given the weapon's normal ammo amount regardless of how much ammo you have currently. Otherwise if you're out of ammo you'll be brought back to the minimum quantity. Camping a gun when you've got plenty of ammo will result in getting exactly 1 unit of ammo regardless of what you're packing. Guns dropped by other players will always be loaded, however, so be sure to pick them up whenever you can.

The film shows a few frags from Duel and TDM games. All frags are mine. Main goal was to show the intensity of Quake 3, thus the metal song (In Flames - Free Fall) and scarce editing. ENJOY!

The second coming of "Greatest Moments" by [DL]G-News. Better quality, almost 16 Minutes of brand new frags and captures recorded mostly from online games (trainings and matches). A movie to show how great Quake 3 can still be. All either OSP TDM or OSP CTF. Requires QuickTime 6.0 or newer.

Included in this level pak are two levels - High Noon (filename is wildwest) and Happy Trails (ww2, this level). Western Quake 3 have been making a mod featuring gunfighting in the ol' West. However one of their newest levels is also called High Noon. Well I'm sorry fellas, but I was here first. High Noon dates from 1999, has history (above) and distribution already. I e-mailed all of the development team and asked if they would like me to rename my level, but I recieved no replies after a week. So it stays, which is pretty convenient for me.

This movie is not about Quake 3. This movie is about us. A few of us. My aim was to create a clean movie with minimal editing in order to retain its original identity and uniqueness of the game. My 2nd aim was to see movie for a breath and at the end say: Cool, wanna see it again.... The movie is dedicated to all Slovak Quake 3 players.
