Brainworks is a Quake 3 mod designed to give Quake 3 Arena bots working brains. It is a complete rewrite of all the Artificial Intelligence used by the bots.
This mod is designed to give Quake 3 Bots a brain. Brainworks is a server side only rewrite of the original AI logic. The primary goal of Brainworks is to provide bots that act and respond like a normal human player, not like a bad player with amazing aim. As such, Brainworks contains the following improvements to Bot Artificial Intelligence:
Sound and visual awareness system
Randomized dodging in battles
Avoidance of incoming missiles
Strafejumping
Improved enemy aiming (based on human compensation models)
Timing of item respawns
Redesigned internal goal selection
Redesigned internal aim selection
MANY MANY fixes for bugs in original Q3A bot code
Brawl for Quake 3, converted from the Q2 model.

mrks, the guy behind the famous Cetus movies and Freeform unveils his latest creation, Cattuthaj Jhana. This is a Quake 3 trickjumping video featuring two extremely skilled trickers, umeK and buddha from clan Qiang Shi.
cristal, fresh after the completion of Unity has aided the project by editing 3 minutes of the movie. The video also comes with 6 different audio mixes to give people a choice of music styles. The demos have also been included in the archive.
Note: The "menu" was done by umeK himself. If you dont want to use the launcher to watch the video you can grab the .avi in the /video/ directory.
Also included with the launcher is the media player classic and the ffdshow filter to guarantee you smooth playback.

Celestia is a quake 3 defrag movie with cpm physics. It presents some of the best runs from one of the top defrag players—Arcaon—in an atmospheric and energetic fusion of speed and color.
Arcaon appeared in the defrag scene in late 2008, and has since then racticed to become one of the greatest. All runs included are (or have been) world records.

A large FFA/Team DM map for Quake 3. This one's pretty expansive and pretty tall. Opportunities abound for sniper-types who love their railguns. This map was my first attempt at a large venue suitable for serious Team action, and I'm pretty pleased with the way it came out. There are a few custom shaders (e.g. the afterbirth-ish slime, the glass tubes full o' scum, the Q3A wall hanging, the water), and I did a bunch of work with hint brushes to try and keep the r_speeds relatively low, and a huge amount of work with clusterportal brushes to optimize bot navigation as much as I possibly could. You may still notice some framerate stuttering at times with a bunch of bots loaded up, as they simply aren't at their best when trying to navigate around a huge, open, complicated area.

The latest and greatest CPMA-approved build of Quake 3. This is an alternative to quake3.exe offering improved FPS, fixes and no Punkbuster nonsense. Steam Quake 3 users would also benefit from using this executable as it does not require Steam to run. Steam and normal quake3.exe files can be left as they are and used as normal.
This update offers improvements that'll be important for all players:
- The DirectX input code has been updated allowing you to directly bind mouse5 through to 8 as well as smoothing out and improving input for some users. Mouse input buffer has been doubled in size.
Demo pausing with timescale 0.
- Fixed an Nvidia card skybox bug that was causing some users to have FPS problems.
- Increased the max poly and max vert counts significantly.

- removed the stupidity of every key aborting demo playback: now ESC only (ed: this also makes ALL bound keys usable in demos, unless overridden by a mod (e.g. CPMA''s MVD hotkeys)).
- only play the id logo cin the FIRST time, not every fkn time
- removed the broken stencil/projection shadow code
- avis produced by video actually work (bug+fix both from ioq3)
- fixed some ABSURD buffer overruns and broken code in snd_dma which caused random dropped sounds for no reason. it''s a miracle it doesn''t segfault any real OS
also dumped the unused-since-TA adpcm/mulaw/etc cruft
- fixed a TA-era bug that broke loopsound behavior. loop (ie ambient) sounds are now 75% volume
- q3config is NEVER autowritten just because of bind/cvar changes. it sucks if you''re playing and it sucks even more if you''re on GTV. UI/SP code should write it EXPLICITLY if they want to save something
Chili Quake XXL, formerly Quake 2005 Revolution, is a High Definition Graphics Update for Id Softwares Quake 3 Arena. It includes some new models, new textures, and also new shaders. It utilizes the
Evolution Q3 Engine, so pixel and vertex shaders are also supported, and they are already in use. It also includes some high resoluted weapon textures from Destroyer.
The goal of Chili Quake XXL is to make Q3A look like a nextgen game while maintaining the compatibility to the original Q3A and its mods, and its original style.
Note to the Installation: You have to install Chil Quake XXL in an own directory (e.g. C:ProgramsChil Quake XXL), and then you must copy the pak0.pk3 file from your previous original Q3 installation in the baseq3 folder there.

I made this video for my own pleasure. I experimented a lot in this movie.I try to make completely new transitions, effects, cut and synchs. I hope I managed to get a new style movie. Besides, I used the quake 3 mod: freeze (CTF, team deathmatch and 1v1). So don’t except rockets air.
You will mainly see rail shots (air, reflex, 2 in a row), nice grapple fast moves, and some gauntlet frags. The most of the frags are the last hit of the round, therefore it make it more interesting. So I hope you will enjoy this movie.

This is the second part of Cold Outside. As the first one, it''s again quake 3 freeze mod with nice shots (reflex, blind shots, gaunts, 2 in a row...). The players were very impress from the first movie and motivate me to do a second one by sending demos with really nice actions. I made this movie for nM clan and I am happy to share it with you. I try to make a decent, nice and enjoyable movie to watch,with some new ideas. I am glad with this result but I know it can be better as usual. So post your comments of how I can make it better the next time, maybe. Most of the frags were made in real clan wars.
