I bet at least a few people here have asked why there were no bots made for Krusade or Roderic. They are some cool looking skins of Sarge. I made some bots and i made them ass-kickers. They are harder than most other bots to kill or defeat. No chat stuff though. I will make chats though at a later time and then upload them again.
To INSTALL, simply place the PK3 in the baseq3 folder in your Quake 3 Arena directory in Program Files.

Fortress Evolution is a class-based modification developed for the Quake 3 Arena engine. To those familiar with fortress style modifications, or class based systems for that matter, it's important to realize that this style of gameplay is different from anything you've most likey ever experienced. FE takes it's roots from the original QuakeWorld modification(s), TeamFortress and MegaTeamFortress. While both are the same in their base engine operations, there are some class and gameplay factors that definitely seperate the two. Fortress Evolution's attempt is to recreate the two while maintaining QuakeWorld physics in a more graphically adept enviroment; Quake 3 Arena.
This second development alpha release contains the soldier, scout, demoman, and combat medic. Also contains h4rdcore, 32smooth, forts, xpress, 1on1, and cube.

Hello,
those of you who know me are prepared for what''s coming. My new video from Quake 3 Arena: DeFRaG mode named JUMPING JUGGLERS. In this movie with a length of about 6 minutes there are demos played by the best CZ/SK DeFRaGers. Music... again brisk DnB with perfect picture and music synchro. I took good care of choosing and creating filters for this movie. I think it''s safe to say it''s the best that can be seen from me today. The music goes nicely side by side with camera cuts and therefore I advise you to crank up the volume to fully enjoy the speed and power of this video. There is no blur in this video for better quality feeling of the game and picture.

The Challenge Pro Mode (CPM) project was created by Richard 'Hoony' Sandlant in May 1999 (when the 'Q3test' was released) after he realised that Quake 3 Arena was going to have a lot of "newbie-friendly" features and after John Carmack admitted a more challenging version might be better for professional gamers (which is where the name "pro mode" came from). Notes for version 0.99x8 (9 Sep 02):
add: CPM13B map config (PG -> LG)
add: cg_predict (0-2)
replaces cg_nopredict
0 = off
1 = normal
2 = optimised
the normal prediction path is extremely slow at times
(notably around curves) and can cost you 100fps on a GHz machine
this new scheme is MUCH faster, but slightly more prone to errors.
oddly enough, it's still more accurate than the original
id prediction code (i.e. before the CPMA fixes) :)
if you have a slow machine, it's definitely worth trying.

XoneXfer is a multi-purpose mod for Quake 3 Arena. It has many capabilities, and is able to accomodate many different play styles.
Most servers that run XoneXfer are unlagged, although this can be turned off if desired (see config readme).
Through the various game settings, many aspects of the game can be customized to provide a unique game experience, or configured to replicate several of the more well known mods, such as InstaUnlagged or OSP.
Although you can modify each of the settings yourself, for your convenience a few standard config scripts have been provided, and several more are available on the forums.
If you make a great new gametype with this, post your settings on the forums so others can enjoy it too!
Excessive Speed - Quake 3 Arena movie based on ExcessivePlus modification is my third Q3 Arena movie and seventh movie I have done over all. I began my film adventure while playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. However, those ET short clips are not really worth watching.
The purpose of this movie is to promote the best (pure subjectivism) Q3 Arena mod. Video does not contain any names of frag authors because it is not exactly the point of this release. Frankly, I have to admit that there is only a few players that actually appear in first pov. (mainly me). The real meaning of this movie is to present all kind of situations that could possibly occur during the game regardless on whether they were very spectacular or not.
While creating this video I followed the three main rules. First one is high Speed, several third povs and fast changes between perspectives. In theory that makes movie a bit more complicated but after all a whole project gains a lot of its effectiveness.
Secondly, position clips in appropiate order. It is always a challenge if it comes to this aspect but I truly hope that this movie will be way more enjoyable than my previous project ‘Infinity’.
Thirdly and finally, avoid random visual effects. I have seen a lot of professional movies as well as amateur ones and this time I put all efforts to do something new and original. For instance, by filling up the video with only those effects that fit into every
single clip properly.
Another thing that is critical for me is very precise synchronization. I love the movies where so called "small events" like incredible frags or fast transitions between clips are bound with sound (bass) "kicks" in the background. I gave all my best to keep entire project in this style. About the general quality. It is decent but when we take into account other productions that came out lately it turns into average. Unfortunately I could not make it higher than 1280x800 resolution because of my limited hardware possibilities but hopefully it will be sufficient.
Excessive Speed took me much longer than all previous projects. I spent a lot of time thinking about all kind of details as well as general idea about the whole. It has been more or less 4 months including short breaks caused by rl stuff since I made this decision about starting project. Right now I am very happy it is coming to its end.
I will be grateful if you inform your friends about this movie because as it has been mentioned before the main purpose of this video is to promote ExcessivePlus mod. In 2002 some people started to organize little privacy Quake 3 Arena Capture the flag LANs
one or two times a year. These LANs attended only people, who know each other from real life.
Kami, one player from these LANs, also like to build webpages just for fun. In February 2005 he tested a new ilch webtemplate and finished a clan web page - not related to a special clan. Two weeks later, some of our today members got DSL - and a new Quake clan was born.
The Army of Losers spawned in March 2005, six years after the release of Quake 3 Arena.
Since Oktober 2006 the Army of Losers Fun Clan and Webpage is not longer exist... thanx all friends and members for nice years....
