ZerTerO has released a new version of his extended graphic mod "High Quality Quake" [HQQ] v2.5 for Quake III.
There were plenty of fans for the earlier version of this mod, the old version 2.0 was downloaded on fileplanet over 5000x times.

This mod is very very good. I mean, totally brilliant.
I have noticed that when I connect to some servers the mod does not remain and reverts to normal. Is there a fix for that? There is nothing unusual about the server either.

Julie Stepan mingles with the nerds waiting in the BYOC registration line. If you haven't been to QuakeCon before, you'd be surprised of the amount of crazy people which turn out for the event. We have some costumed crazies and a guy who looks like John Carmack.
