An update for Windows users of Quake4 1.3. This update includes a host of features added during the 1.4 beta program, such as: refined hitboxes, optimized sound and network code, configurable fps caps, weapon balancing, server direct autodownloading, addonpak fixes and Q4TV to name only a few. The majority of the additions have been included thanks to direct community feedback and beta participation.

anytime i try multiplayer it pulls up a code window and says this at the bottom: Shutting down sound hardware idRenderSystem::Shutdown() could not create destination file C:/Program Files/id Software/Quake 4/q4max/gamex86.dll

cant get multiplayer to work on quake 4 downloaded all the patches...have discs and key what gives?
